A stamp tour for enjoying sightseeing and hot springs along the Sendai River
The Tourism Promotion Subcommittee of the Sendai River System Kawamachi-zukuri (Riverside Town Development) Promotion Council – made up of the 5 cities and towns along the Sendai River: Yusui Town (Y), Ebino City (E), Satsuma Town and Satsumasendai City (S), and Isa City (!) – is holding a stamp tour in which you collect points while casually touring the Sendai River basin, including the hot springs and sightseeing facilities in each city and town.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the stamp tour is run using smartphones. Participants enter for rewards based on the number of points collected, and winners will receive local specialties from each city and town.
