Nishinomiya Pop-Up Library (Nishinomiya, Hyogo, Japan)

Timed to coincide with Book Week, this project sets up small pop-up libraries in spaces around town to help people feel closer to books and libraries. It's also a small social experiment toward realizing the city's goal of "a new central library created together with citizens."

Small, one-box pop-up libraries will appear in shops and public spaces around Hanshin Nishinomiya Station and the City Hall main building.
